Presoak: 24 hours until swollen and then keep around 77?F until sprouted GROWING RECOMMENDATIONS: 1. Surface-sow seeds in small pots or flats with moistened seed-starting mix, barely covering with soil. Spritz with water to settle into soil. 2. Place in warm indirect sunlight and keep soil moist. Germination will occur in 14-21 days. 3. Resize into bigger pots as needed. Transplant 4!± tall seedlings 12!± apart in their permanent location after last frost. Protect young plants during the first few winters. *** Plants have long roots, so make sure they have plenty of room to spread. *** Harvest in the fall, 2 or 3 years after planting.
